How to forward text messages to Email?
Your iPhone includes the Shortcuts app, which has a feature called Automations. This feature allows you to set up triggers to automate tasks, including on incoming messages.
By using it together with the Forward SMS app, you can automatically forward text messages to an email address. This guide will walk you through setting up the Shortcuts Automation to make that happen.

First, head to the App Store and download the newest version of Forward SMS. We'll use this app to forward your message directly from your iPhone through Shortcut Automations.
Create a new Email Integration in Forward SMS

Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone and navigate to the Automation tab.
Step 2: Create a new Message Trigger
Tap on New Automation and create a new Personal Automation for the Message trigger:
Step 3: Configure Message Trigger
Here, you can customize the trigger by choosing Sender or Message Contains.
For example, if you only want to forward specific messages like one-time passwords (OTP) or 2FA codes, you can use the Message Contains option and enter a keyword such as “code.”
Step 4: Create a new Automation Action
Choose New Blank Automation and search for "Forward SMS" in the list of actions.
Step 5: Configure Automation Action
Select the Message field and tap Select Variable. This step is really important!
Next, tap on Shortcut Input and save your automation by tapping Done. That's it!

This setup ensures that important messages are shared with your team as they arrive, whether you’re forwarding OTPs or other critical communications.
